Community Guidelines
Effective October 7, 2026. These Community Guidelines (also our Acceptable Use Policy) are part of the Bindr Terms of Service.
Bindr is a dating community for adults looking for real connections. These rules apply to everyone and everywhere on Bindr: profiles, usernames, photos, the feed, posts and comments, messages, message requests, reports, and our websites and apps. They also apply to how you treat people you met on Bindr when you contact them somewhere else or meet in person. Paid and free members are held to exactly the same rules.
1. Who can use Bindr
- You must be at least 18 years old. Anyone under 18 is not allowed on Bindr for any reason.
- One person, one account. Do not create an account for anyone else or share your account.
- If we have banned you, you may not create a new account under any name.
2. Be real
- Use your own, current photos. Your main photo must clearly show your face.
- Do not impersonate anyone or misrepresent who you are, your age or your intentions.
- No fake, automated or bot accounts, and no attempts to trick our photo or selfie verification.
3. No nudity or sexual content
Bindr does not allow nudity or sexually explicit content anywhere on the service. This includes:
- Nude or partially nude photos, see-through clothing, or photos focused on genitals, buttocks or breasts.
- Sexually explicit text, images, video or links in profiles, posts, comments, messages or message requests.
- Explicit sexual propositions or requests for sexual acts.
This applies even when both people are consenting adults. Consent does not make sexually explicit content or conduct allowed on Bindr.
4. No sexual solicitation or commercial sex
You may not use Bindr to buy, sell, offer, request, advertise or arrange sex or sexual services, whether or not money changes hands and whether or not it is legal where you are. This includes:
- Prostitution, escorting, "sugar" or "pay-to-meet" arrangements, and any exchange of sexual activity for money, gifts, travel, housing or anything else of value.
- Selling or promoting sexual content, including OnlyFans or similar subscription pages, cam shows, and paid photos or videos.
- Advertising or recruiting for strip clubs, massage parlors, sex work or adult businesses.
5. Zero tolerance: human trafficking and exploitation
- Human trafficking in any form is prohibited, including sex trafficking (trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation) and forced labor.
- You may not recruit, transport, harbor, advertise, buy or sell any person, or use force, fraud or coercion to make anyone perform commercial sex acts or labor.
- You may not aid, abet, encourage or facilitate the abuse or exploitation of any person, on or off Bindr. This includes helping, arranging for, paying for, covering for or profiting from someone else's abuse or exploitation of another person.
Accounts involved in trafficking or exploitation are permanently banned and reported to law enforcement.
6. Zero tolerance: minors and child sexual abuse material
We permanently ban and report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement any account that shares, requests or links to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualizes a minor in any way, or attempts to contact or groom a minor. See our CSAE Policy.
7. No sexual violence or non-consensual conduct
- Sexual assault, rape, or any sexual contact without clear and ongoing consent, including with someone you met on Bindr.
- Threatening, promoting, glorifying or joking about sexual violence.
- Sexual coercion, pressure or continued sexual advances after someone says no or stops responding.
- Sharing or threatening to share intimate images of anyone without their consent, and sextortion (demanding money, images or anything else under threat of exposure).
8. No scams or fraud
Any activity intended to defraud, deceive or take money or information from other members is prohibited. This includes romance scams and financial fraud such as:
- Asking members for money, gifts, gift cards, loans, payment for travel, bills or emergencies, or help moving money.
- Promoting cryptocurrency, trading, investment or "get rich" schemes, or asking members to use a particular app or website to send money.
- Building a romantic relationship in order to ask for money or financial information.
- Asking for passwords, verification codes, bank or card details, or other personal or financial information.
- Phishing links, fake profiles used to deceive (catfishing), blackmail and extortion.
If anyone you met on Bindr asks you for money, do not send it. Report them.
9. No harassment, hate or violence
- No bullying, stalking, intimidation, threats, or unwanted contact after someone has blocked or declined you.
- No hate speech or attacks based on sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age or any other protected characteristic.
- No threats of violence, promotion of violence, or content that glorifies self-harm or violent extremism.
10. No illegal activity
Do not use Bindr to buy, sell or promote illegal drugs, weapons or other illegal goods or services, or to plan or carry out any other illegal activity.
11. Respect privacy
Do not share anyone's private information (such as their address, phone number, workplace or photos) without their permission, and do not record or publish private conversations to harass or expose someone.
12. No spam or commercial use
Bindr is for personal use. No advertising, selling, promotions, multi-level marketing, follower farming, mass messaging, automation, scraping, or links to other services for these purposes.
13. How we enforce these rules
We use automated screening and human review to find and act on violations, and we act on reports from members. Depending on the violation we may remove content, restrict features, suspend an account, or permanently ban the account and the person behind it, including blocking their devices and network connections. We may do this without warning.
- Trafficking, exploitation, CSAM, sexual violence, sexual solicitation and scams result in a permanent ban and, where appropriate, a report to law enforcement or NCMEC.
- Banned members may not return under a new account. Paid memberships ended because of a violation are not refunded.
- We cannot review everything before it is posted. You are responsible for what you post and send and for how you treat other members.
- Our decisions on enforcement are final.
14. Report it
- Use Report or Block on any profile or conversation in the app or on the website.
- Use our contact form or email support@bindr.dating.
- If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services (911 in the US) first.
Law enforcement agencies can find how to submit requests in our Law Enforcement Guidelines.
15. Changes
We may update these Guidelines as Bindr and the risks our members face change. The effective date above shows when they were last updated, and continued use of Bindr means you accept the current version.
